GET OUT THERE and RUN

We have a variety of sessions focussed on endurance, strength and conditioning and speed across a number of running displines. New members are welcome at any session.

We are at it every day of the week. Members pick and choose which sessions they like each week via the Spond app. All sessions are designed to be both challenging and enjoyable. We mix things up utilising the wonderful blend of facilities and natural surroundings in and around the Wirral. To find out how to get involved please contact us.

Beginners & New Members

All ages and abilities welcome! 

 

You will be welcomed by the team and get to try out a session pitched at the right level for you. After that our friendly coaches will recommend what other sessions would be best suited for you as you move along your running journey.

Strength and Conditioning

Improve your performance, practice your shooting and have some fun on the obstacle course at our weekly S&C sessions at UTS in Hoylake.

Parkruns

Warriors love a Parkrun! Junior or full, we'll have a squad at both every weekend! Birkenhead and Thurstaston are our 'home' courses but we'll sometimes venture to Wepre, Ellesmere Port and Parkgate (juniors).

Track

Club track nights are Tuesday and Thursday. These are our biggest training nights, where you'll find a session for everyone from 100m to the marathon!

Beach

When the weather is good (is it ever good?) we move to the beach and mix our runs in with fun beach games, often followed by cheering on teammates racing the Seaside Run!

Sunday Runs

Sunday long run is an endurance runners' staple; from beginners to Olympians, all over the world runners will be lacing up on Sunday morning for a long run! Runs sretch from 20mins for beginners to over an hour for long distance runners. There's something for everyone. Come, run, chat with your friends and enjoy and post-run treat at Flissy's Café!

Pentathlon

It’s in our name! Biathles, Triathles, Laser Run. Who doesn’t want to throw a laser gun into the mix!?

 

We hold sessions three times a week and our training has resulted in many of our talented members representing GB at a European and World level. Monday, Wednesdays and Fridays. Our sessions reflect the competition season.

Cross Country

In the autumn we go mud hunting twice a week in preparation for the many Cross Country races we compete in.

Road

We mix up locations across the Wirral throughout the week to keep things interesting. Easy running is critical to endurance success. In the early Spring and Autumn we also have road sessions as preparation for regional and national road relays as well as summer racing.

Fell

"Only the brave" is our fell slogan! Fell sessions run on Wednesdays throughout spring and summer, using local hills on the Wirral and the steeper gradients in North Wales.
